The primary responsibilities of this position involves speaking with prospective clients, gathering information, explaining the legal services we provide, answer questions, and converting qualified callers into new clients.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable talking to people about their hardships and legal situations and who has a natural desire to want to help people.

What You'll Do:

-Handle inbound calls from prospective clients who have been vetted as viable leads.
-Gather information needed to fully understand the prospective client's situation.
-Explain the legal services our firm provides in a clear, understandable, and reassuring manner.
-Explain our representation process, fees, and what the client can expect after hiring the firm.
-Identify qualified prospective clients and determine whether they are a good fit for our services.
-Follow a structured consultation and enrollment process while maintaining a natural, conversational approach.
-Address common objections regarding attorney fees, affordability, timing, and whether hiring an attorney is necessary.
-Follow up with prospective clients who do not immediately retain the firm.
-Complete intake information accurately in our case-management system.
-Maintain detailed and accurate notes regarding consultations and follow-ups.
-Work closely with attorneys and the firm's intake/administrative team to ensure a smooth transition from prospective client to active client.
-Consistently meet established enrollment and conversion goals.

We are looking for someone who is:

-An excellent communicator who can make people feel comfortable quickly.
-Confident speaking with people by telephone.
-Comfortable asking for the sale and closing a prospective client.
-Empathetic and able to communicate with people who may be anxious, embarrassed, or frustrated about their financial situation.
-Persuasive without being pushy or aggressive.
-Highly organized and able to manage multiple prospective clients and follow-ups.
-Comfortable learning and following a structured sales/intake process.
-Motivated by measurable goals and performance.
-Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
-Comfortable using computers, CRM/case-management software, email, and other technology.

Experience

Strongly preferred:

-Sales or inside-sales experience
-Legal intake experience
-Law firm experience
-Customer service or call-center experience
-Experience selling professional services
-Experience working with consumers regarding financial products, debt, insurance, mortgages, or other high-consideration services

A legal background is NOT required and training is provided.

The right person with strong sales and communication skills can learn the legal terminology and intake process. We will provide training regarding our practice areas, services, consultation process, and systems.

What Makes This Position Different:

The vast majority of our prospective clients are generally already interested in speaking with an attorney when they call because they received a letter from our firm regarding a lawsuit or other legal matter.

You will not be making "cold calls."
