Their primary responsibilities are to ensure the satisfaction of our residents while also meeting leasing, retention and occupancy goals for the community. Camden Leasing Consultants have excellent communication skills, think outside the box and have the ability to build lasting relationships. They are experts in customer service who are able to understand and anticipate our customers needs to create exceptional experiences./ppEssential Functions:/pulliManage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great move-in experience/liliShowcase the value of the community features as they relate to the customer needs/liliUse a customer focused attitude year round to ensure a smooth renewal process for existing residents/liliUtilize and establish creative marketing and social media strategies to increase property traffic/liliSupport occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents/liliUse problem solving skills and best judgment to handle unpredictable situations as they arise/liliMaintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the community and competitors in the industry to give potential residents all the information they need to make their decision/liliPromote positive resident relations through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns/liliDemonstrate strong attention to detail while preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval and related bookkeeping tasks/liliCollaborate with team members to plan and organize resident events/liliWill assist in other projects and activities as needed/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliOne year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service/liliBachelors degree preferred/liliMeet or exceed sales and customer service goals/liliWork a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required/liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel Outlook/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliLeasing and/or property management experience preferred/liliKnowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred/liliBilingual in Spanish is a plus/li/ulpAnd heres the fine print HR wants you to know:/pulliJob is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis/liliWill use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing/liliWorks in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community/liliHazards can be minimized with proper lifting techniques, SDS, general safety training, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)/liliMust handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis/liliEmotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position/liliWill be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)/liliPosition requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities/liliMay require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips/liliAttendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position/liliContact your HR team for the positions Physical Demands Analysis/li/ulpThis job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
