Registered Nurse (RN) - Multiple Specialties Available (Contract) Location: Columbus, Ohio Facility: The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00–$65.00 per hour We Are Hiring Registered Nurses! Join our team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio! We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for multiple contract opportunities across a variety of specialties. RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN - Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med-Surg Tele) RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN - PCU Float RN - Transplant RN - Critical Care Float RN - Mother-Baby Couplet Care / Postpartum Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards. Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program. Current BLS certification (required). ACLS certification (required) Additional certifications (such as PALS, NRP, or specialty-specific certifications) required depending on the unit. Minimum of two year of recent acute care hospital experience in the specialty applying for (required). Excellent clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
