Strategic Account Manager- Healthcare Payers

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key enterprise clients within the healthcare payer space. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, responsible for driving long-term partnership value through retention, revenue expansion, and strategic account development. The ideal candidate combines strong consultative selling abilities with deep client management experience and commercial acumen.

Strategic Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary executive-level contact for assigned strategic accounts, building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Lead contract renewals and identify opportunities for revenue expansion through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
  • Facilitate executive business reviews and ongoing strategic planning discussions with client leadership
  • Act as escalation point for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong service alignment
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on growth, retention, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client objectives
Strategic Account Manager Requirements:
  • Proven experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or client success roles
  • Strong background working with healthcare payer or complex healthcare organizations preferred
  • Demonstrated success in driving renewals, revenue growth, and long-term account retention
  • Ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders and executive decision-makers
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including understanding of margins and revenue performance
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
