Material Coordinator

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start Travel Requirements: None Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Dam Neck) SUMMARY: WR is seeking a highly motivated Material Coordinator to provide Government site support for material management, equipment tracking, inventory control, and logistics operations. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Support Government site logistics activities, including: Shipping and receiving of materials and equipment Material movement and distribution Equipment tracking, accountability, and status reporting International shipping coordination and Customs clearance processing Inventory records management and reconciliation Process and maintain DD-1149 documentation and related shipping records. Coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely movement of equipment and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory databases and support inventory audits. Assist with material receipt inspections and verification of shipment documentation. Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support logistics and material management requirements. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Seven (7)+ years of full-time professional experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or material coordination. Experience with inventory databases and DD-1149 generation and processing. Experience tracking Government-furnished equipment and materials. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Active Secret Clearance required at time of hire. Preferred experience and skills: Experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD logistics operations. Familiarity with international shipping requirements and Customs documentation. Experience utilizing Government logistics and inventory management systems.
