Print Industry - Customer Service Representative

Job Description Job Description Thomas Printworks is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Addison team. This role is ideal for someone with strong print production knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning projects from start to finish.
About Our Company: We are a privately held diversified printing services company with annual revenues of almost $65 million. We have been in business for over 60+ years, with 25 locations operating throughout Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and sales throughout the print production process
• Review incoming job specifications and determine the most efficient and cost-effective production method
• Create detailed job tickets outlining materials, production plans, timelines, and pricing
• Coordinate with production, prepress, mailing, and shipping teams to ensure deadlines are met
• Monitor jobs at every stage to maintain accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery
• Communicate job status updates, including proofs, approvals, revisions, due dates, and delivery methods
• Negotiate timelines when needed based on production capacity and customer requirements
• Prepare final billing documentation and ensure all charges are properly recorded
• Make informed, timely decisions to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior print industry experience preferred
• Background in print coordination, production planning, or project management
• Working knowledge of print production methods, materials, and estimating
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
