Clinical Outreach Specialist

The Clinical Outreach Specialist's primary goal is to increase patient admissions through strong partnerships with healthcare providers and other referral sources. Success in this role will be gauged by the number of new patients (admissions) acquired as a direct result of your outreach and relationship-building efforts.

The responsibilities include prospecting and educating referral sources, engagement and relationship management, outreach and admissions, data management, partnership development, territory and activity management, community engagement and education, and team support.

The skills and expertise required include proven ability to manage and cultivate relationships effectively, exceptional sales skills and techniques, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications, accurate and efficient electronic data entry, punctuality, high organization, multitasking, problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, comfort thriving in dynamic work environments, and a collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year in a healthcare sales or outreach role, an active book of business, and must drive a personal vehicle for community outreach activities.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the mental health field, history of achieving goals in referral generation efforts, proficiency in CRM and EMR software, and a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
