Job Description

• Craft Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans that facilitate the achievement of their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognition, and daily life skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that help promote continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Regularly assess clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients aligned with their goals.

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
