Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing our user-friendly telehealth platform to connect with clients. You will have the flexibility to manage your work schedule, ensuring that you can provide optimal care while maintaining work-life balance. Although the standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and strengths of patients.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate and lead psychoeducational groups that help clients address common mental health challenges and foster community support.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, assessing risks and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, coping strategies, and available resources to support their journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential case documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and supporting colleagues in fostering a shared commitment to best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Resilient Recovery Counseling Center, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse client population. Our patients come from various backgrounds and age groups, each presenting with unique challenges related to mental health. You will play a pivotal role in their recovery journey by offering compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and therapeutic best practices.

• Proven record in conducting assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to clients of various backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competency.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Ability to adhere to professional ethics and maintain clear boundaries within therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
