Executive Chef: Upscale Restaurant Boynton Beach, FL area A well-established, independently owned restaurant in South Palm Beach County is looking for an Executive Chef to lead its next phase. The restaurant has a loyal local and seasonal following, strong guest reviews, and an ownership group that reinvests in the business. This role is for someone who wants to put their own stamp on a successful operation, not rebuild a broken one.

- Menu development and refinement, with a clear identity and seasonal creativity
- Consistency and execution standards across every service
- Food cost, labor, and purchasing within established targets
- Building and developing the sous chef and line leadership team
- Close partnership with the General Manager on operations, guest experience, and the P&L
- Presenting menu ideas and culinary direction to ownership in clear business terms
- Leading the kitchen through a high-volume winter peak season
- 3+ years as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in full-service, high-volume restaurants ($4M to $6M range preferred)
- Proven menu writing ability, with a track record of elevating a concept without losing what already works
- Tight cost control. You understand food cost, yield, and vendor management as well as you understand the plate
- A leader who builds and keeps a kitchen team and treats people well
- Comfort working with hands-on ownership. You can explain culinary decisions in plain business terms
- Willingness to work within existing systems and improve them over time, not tear them down on day one
- Florida seasonal experience preferred
- Stable, independently owned restaurant with a long track record
- Ownership that invests in the business
- Real creative input into the menu
- A strong GM partner who knows the operation
- Room to build your own kitchen leadership team
