Work Environment

This role is situated on-site in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, providing a comprehensive range of therapy services. Your immediate team will include two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all working in unison to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans that effectively address their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a dedicated caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives quality, hands-on care tailored to their specific conditions and aspirations.
• Implement a variety of treatment interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, aimed at improving mobility.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and create comprehensive fitness and wellness programs to promote overall health and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to track improvements and inform future care strategies.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy and adapt care plans based on patient feedback and evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system. This may include individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in facilitating not just physical recovery but also in positively influencing patients' mental wellbeing by empowering them through their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• A current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise protocols.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, providing direct patient care.
• A history of successfully developing patient-centered care plans and engaging clients in their recovery.
• Capable of conducting assessments and effectively communicating results to patients and multidisciplinary team members collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist position at Peak Performance offers a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually.
