Field Service Engineer

This organization provides advanced industrial measurement and control solutions for wire, cable, hose, and tube production across North America. Utilizing technologies such as laser, x ray, millimeter wave, and optical systems, this team delivers precision equipment that ensures product quality and process optimization. They are currently looking to add a Field Service Technician to their team in their Peach Tree Georgia location (Atlanta). They have a ton of Veterans on their team and looking to add talent!The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site technical support to customers, including equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and operator training. The position requires 75-80% travel throughout North America, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional international assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and strong customer communication abilities. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining company equipment, supporting equipment demonstrations, evaluating system performance, performing corrective repairs, responding to customer inquiries, documenting service activities, completing detailed reports, and maintaining a high level of technical and product knowledge while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Compensation for this role is between 60-75k Base Plus Overtime! Must be ok with some travel overseas training. Initial training will be OJT with other team members for 8-9 months. All expenses and travel paid of company credit card and food. Will get $35 dollar a day travel pay as well. Most travel is flying Monday to Friday and usually have off one week a month and working in the Peach Tree Location.
