Work Environment

Located in the heart of Brick, NJ, our facility provides a supportive and dynamic onsite work environment. As a Physical Therapist here, you will be working regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work schedule while you focus on making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, identifying strengths and limitations to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Administer skilled therapies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities targeting geriatric needs.
• Regularly monitor and record patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and effective home care practices.
• Implement fall prevention programs tailored to the specific needs of residents in our assisted living community.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and professional development to refine skills and improve patient care.
• Uphold high ethical standards in all interactions, maintain patient confidentiality, and commit to delivering the utmost quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on the elderly population, which includes patients recovering from surgeries and those managing chronic conditions. Many of our patients require specialized interventions tailored to their age-related needs, emphasizing preventative care strategies that help sustain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy to provide effective and innovative care.

Compensation and Benefits
