Work Environment

The position is based at our outpatient clinic in Brick, New Jersey, a vibrant community known for its picturesque views and welcoming atmosphere. The clinic is designed with the latest technology and equipment that enable effective treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education tools. Our working hours are structured from Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for focused patient care without weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and socio-economic factors influencing their health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, setting clear goals for improvement.
• Administer various physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to promote healing and recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and adaptive equipment use, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Document each patient's progress meticulously, modifying treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care with other health professionals, ensuring continuity and comprehensiveness of treatment.
• Manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing patient needs and adjusting daily assignments based on clinic requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Restore Therapy, you will encounter a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic serves both adult and pediatric populations, requiring adaptability and a compassionate approach to accommodate varying needs. Understanding the unique and challenging circumstances faced by each patient is key to delivering effective and meaningful therapy.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is advantageous but not required.
• A background in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation is beneficial due to the breadth of conditions treated within our clinic.

Compensation and Benefits
