The Customer Operations Specialist is a pivotal part of the distribution team with a mission to assist in daily operations by performing various duties related to assuring that product is shipped per customer requirements, performing Customer Service activities and supporting the local Sales team. The Customer Operations Specialist is a key member to the local team and plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:Assisting with counter sales and will call pickups, customer stock inquiriesWorking with customers on service issues, entering RMA's and assisting to resolutionAssisting in managing DC and branch order flow and fulfillment per customer requirementsPerforming prescribed customer service activities in the DC/BranchAssisting local sales team with issues and requestsManaging orders and any changes needed post-release to the DCAccurately processing of all order and shipping paperwork and transactionsCoordinating with carriers and fleet drivers for schedulingCommunicating with outside vendors to coordinate shipping appointmentsAssisting the DC Manager/Branch Manager with administrative activities as neededPreparing all required reports and correspondence as neededInvestigating receiving and shipping problems, finding root causes and helping to develop solutionsFollowing proper safety procedures, including wearing all required PPE's and ensuring a safe working environmentFollowing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Working collaboratively across all departmentsPerforming other duties as assigned by the managerRequired Skills/Proficiencies:3+ years of experience with DC shipping practices, DC operations and handling methodsNetSuite Experience PreferredWMS and TMS experience preferredCustomer Service training/experience preferredCommitment to excellence and high standardsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAct as a flexible and innovative team playerAbility to maintain regular attendanceVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmShift: 1stRate: $19
