Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU night shift position requiring 18 months of recent SICU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at a hospital,
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• Required to work at least every other holiday,

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand at time of consideration,
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location,
• 18 months of recent SICU experience required, travel experience acceptable,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required from AHA or American Red Cross,
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months,
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only,
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only,

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both,
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position,
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate,
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date,
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
