Work Environment\n

Our telehealth model allows you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of a supportive and collaborative team. You will connect with clients through secure online platforms, providing flexibility and convenience for both you and the patients you serve. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance. This role emphasizes teamwork and communication, as you collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to guide your clinical decision-making, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of the client.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

• Provide support during crises, utilizing stabilization techniques to help clients manage acute episodes effectively.

• Engage in thorough documentation and maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practice standards.

• Participate in case reviews and team meetings to share insights and enhance the effectiveness of treatments through collaborative discussion.

• Create and adjust personalized treatment plans in conjunction with clients, promoting their goals, strengths, and therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bright Valley Mental Health, you will serve a diverse client population dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma history, and other emotional challenges. Your empathy and communication skills will be crucial in establishing trust, as clients may be navigating sensitive issues and seeking a safe space in which to express themselves and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current, active LPC license in the state of Georgia is essential.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and crisis intervention methodologies.
