Our client, a  Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month Contract . Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference – every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support New Product development projects by:

 

• Leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Developing custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
• Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents
• Creating prints for components used for product repair
• Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection / FAI of product components
• Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection

 

Requirements

 

• Fluent in reading prints (components, custom fixtures, etc.)
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment
• Experience supporting manufacturing lines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong ability to independently problem-solve (technical and non-technical)
• LabView/TestStand experience a plus
• Medical device experience a plus
• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Field required
