As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in the medication fulfillment process by ensuring prescriptions are accurately selected, packaged, labeled, and prepared for pharmacist verification. You will work alongside a team of pharmacists and technicians dedicated to delivering medications safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality. What You'll Do + Prepare prescription medications for pharmacist review and final verification. + Accurately pick medications from inventory and storage locations using scanning technology and established workflows. + Label, package, and stage prescription orders while maintaining strict quality standards. + Support blister card preparation, medication prepackaging, and fulfillment activities. + Identify and escalate scanning discrepancies, inventory issues, or medication concerns immediately. + Process returns and assist with medication recycling and disposal activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. + Maintain organized workstations and ensure adequate stock levels of packaging and operational supplies. + Contribute to continuous workflow efficiency while maintaining exceptional accuracy. + Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations. + Support the pharmacy team with additional operational responsibilities as business needs require. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Marlborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
