Benefits Account Manager

Gilbert’s Risk Solutions is seeking a motivated professional to join our Group Benefits department. This position manages client accounts, provides excellent customer service, and works extensively in insurance carrier and benefits administration computer systems.

Hybrid Schedule: This position requires working three days per week at our main office in Sharon, Pennsylvania , with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned employee benefits client accounts
• Serve as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers
• Coordinate renewals, enrollments, billing, and eligibility changes accurately and on time
• Enter, maintain, and review client information in multiple computer systems
• Resolve client and employee benefits issues while providing timely, professional customer service
• Assist clients with compliance matters, including COBRA, FMLA, the Affordable Care Act, and ERISA
• Attend client meetings as needed; occasional overnight travel may be required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Business, Human Resources, or a related field
• Employee benefits, insurance, internship, or customer service experience preferred
• Life and Health Insurance License required or must be obtained within a company-established timeframe after hire
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple systems
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through
• Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
