Enhance your career in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.Job DescriptionLoan Operations OverviewThe Loan Operations role involves managing loan processing, monitoring capital activities, and ensuring accurate and timely operations support.Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to maintain operational efficiency and resolve discrepancies.Maintain and update security master databases for all traded instruments.Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies in loan operations.Work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities effectively.Opportunity to work with advanced systems like Bloomberg, DTCC, and Markitwire.Support a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Loan Operations Key Responsibilities & DutiesMaintain and manage the security master database for all traded instruments.Handle internal loan setups and coordinate with providers and administrators.Monitor bank loan capital activities, ensuring accurate processing of PIK, paydowns, and funding.Identify and manage bank loans on IHS Markit, addressing deal reprices and rate changes.Resolve trade breaks between trading desks and counterparties efficiently.Collaborate with operations, accounting, and front office teams to address outstanding issues.Liaise with brokers, counterparties, and loan agents to ensure timely payment processing.Assist with corporate action processing and provide support to third-party administrators.Loan Operations Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.2-4 years of relevant experience in loan operations or related fields.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems like Bloomberg, DTCC, and Markitwire.Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Flexibility to prioritize tasks and availability beyond normal business hours.Experience with Front Arena, WSO, or Clearpar is a plus.
