About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU experience License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience required. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:2. Skills in arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, and ventilator management. Description: This is an opportunity for an experienced ICU nurse. Night shifts are available, with the option of 36 or 48 hours per week. 1+ years of ICU experience are required. Travel assignments are welcome for first-time travelers. The nurse will be expected to float to like units as needed. Weekend shifts are required. The patient care setting involves adults and a daily census of patients. The nurse will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. Special procedures may be involved in patient care. Nurses may be responsible for managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Transporting patients and supporting rapid response teams are also part of the nurse's duties. Travelers will receive orientation on the unit upon arrival. Candidates should be prepared for compliance requirements and complete necessary onboarding tasks. All hours during the orientation will be non-billable. About Cynet Health
