About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in ICU License: Pending New Mexico License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience, Patient Ratio Experience of 1:2 Description: ICU Days. First-time travelers welcome. Options for either 36 or 48 hours per week. Ratios of 1:2. Floating required. Weekend work required. Patient care includes arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator management. Experience with blood product administration and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. Must be able to manage patients post-neurosurgery. Aspects of care include the use of High Flow Nasal Cannula and BiPAP/CPAP management. Procedural sedation administration is part of the responsibilities. Suctioning of endotracheal and nasotracheal tubes is required. Patients will include adults in a daily census with a maximum of 32 beds. The unit will have interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and pharmacy. Travelers are expected to float to similar units as needed based on facility needs. About Cynet Health
