- Experience in Medical billing with Medicare/caid, managed care in a hospital or doctor's office setting.
- Responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance to ensure the client's procedures are paid for by their insurance company.
- Acting as the liaison between the client, client's family, insurance company, utilization review and other staff when necessary.
- Verifying insurance, handling self-pay client accounts, accurately preparing Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and third-party billing on a weekly basis.
- In addition, you will be working all claim rejections in clearinghouse to ensure all billing is captured and sent out in a timely manner.
- Will also assist in helping to maintain daily census/assist in claim deletions-corrections as needed.
- Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Level II Background clearance- All Aspire Health Partners Internships and Careers require Level 2 clearance, with Aspire covering fingerprinting costs. Click to learn more.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- 2 years' experience in Medical Billing or AA degree.
