Position Purpose: To provide clerical and administrative services to support operations to departmental staff and program clients. Qualifications/Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Computer proficiency required.
• Proficiency of electronic healthcare records required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Excellent spelling, proofreading and grammar skills
• Experience or training in a Windows-based computer environment

Essential Responsibilities: 1. Work scheduled hours and additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required. 2. Type all documents and correspondence relating to client files as requested. 3. Type forms and handouts used in the treatment process as requested. 4. Maintain/update all program documents as requested. 5. Provide administrative support to team members and clients of the program. 6. Provide support for program and client chart audit and compliance reviews as requested. 7. Responsible for monitoring stock of office supplies and reordering as necessary. 8. May be responsible for management of petty cash and collection of client co-payments. 9. Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols. 10. Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, and regular security assessments, all aligned with PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) guidelines. 11. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. 12. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance. 13. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. 14. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. 15. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Compensation & Rewards: * Starting salary - $19.32/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Work Location: Aspen Counseling [ 8616 Northern Ave. Rockford, IL 61107 Physical Requirements/Percentage of Work Time 1. Vision: Must be able to read printed and/or handwritten materials from a variety of sources 75-100% 2. Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers 50-79%; answer incoming phone calls 0-24%; transcribe from dictation equipment 0-24% 3. Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility between departments within the facility 25-49% 4. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0-24% 5. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently to lift or move objects 25-49% 6. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to finger keyboard for computer work and phone equipment for placing/receiving calls 50-74% 7. Sitting: must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time when using the computer 50-74% Environment: Exposure to computers.
