Our core values are Safety, Integrity, Respect, Accountability, and Care.Job SummaryThe SAP Technical Data Administrator is responsible for managing technical and configuration data within the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Module and is responsible for the operation of portions of the infrastructure necessary to provide technical computing resources to the corporation. This person must possess good knowledge of maintenance and software and will be able to solve most infrastructure problems with minimal assistance. Perform software implementations; contact vendors occasionally. Participate in team planning activities; occasionally assume responsibility for planning software installations/evaluations. This position will also assist the Lemont Maintenance Gatekeepers in the dispatching of work from the SAP PM backlogs and will assist in the production of the daily routine maintenance schedule.Expected Salary Range: $91,000 - $123,000CITGO Benefits: Benefits BrochureDeadline to Apply: October 4, 2026Minimum QualificationsJob DutiesManage the creation of an underlying technical data for all Lemont Refinery functional locations, equipment, bills of material and other support information. Provide necessary reporting of technical master data for the Lemont Refinery, such as, new process functional locations, new equipment, equipment swaps, reservations, demolished and out-of-service equipment.Manage, create and maintain new process functional locations and equipment. Research the existing MCS and SAP databases, the P&IDs. Check with the operating unit before new locations are assigned or existing ones modified. Ensure that new installs are executed and assigned to the correct work order, and warehouse installs are executed in such a way that costs are allocated to the correct process functional location and cost center.Reserve process functional locations for TS&E, Operations or the Maintenance division. Provide SAP number blocks to the Refinery for new or revised process unit changes that require new functional locations and/or equipment.Cancel “reserved” or “unused” process functional locations or equipment for the TS&E, Operations and Maintenance divisions.Audit the timely acquisition of PM technical master data from the TS&E, Operations and Maintenance divisions so that it can be uploaded into SAP PM.Resolve discrepancies between the SAP database and other databases. Assist the Maintenance division in the creation and upkeep of Maintenance task listsManage SAP system configuration to assure minimal user disruptions or inefficiencies. Configure user roles and responsibilities within SAP for all PM users for optimal utilization of the system. Make periodic adjustments to these roles and coordinate such with the PM Administrator as organizational changes are made. Resolve user workflow problems and coordinate deficiencies with the PM Administrator, HR, and the users. Work with HR in the maintenance of Lemont Refinery’s PM functional location hierarchy, including sort fields, cost center owners, planner groups and the associated impacts of an organizational restructuring or staff additions. Provide information requests to the PM Administrator when user roles and responsibilities are modified or created or when organizational objects are updated. Work with financial services to maintain the PM cost center hierarchy.Work with the Maintenance and Operations divisions to configure the PVM notification and work order processDevelop and improve the daily maintenance scheduling process by utilizing functionality within SAP and from outside sources. Dispatch work from the SAP maintenance backlogs and develop daily routine maintenance schedules.Update and maintain accurate manpower capacities within SAP to assure optimal daily manpower scheduling.Develop applications that can be used outside of SAP to improve scheduling functionality.Help users be more productive in their use of SAP PM by creating customized variant settings within SAPJob Duties continuedImprove the learning process for CITGO employees and contract personnel on SAP work processes: Act as lead trainer for contract clerks assigned to the maintenance or turnaround divisions. Prepare procedures for the technical data management processes and requirements for supporting documentation.Collaborate with departmental personnel in cross-training to eliminate key person dependencies.Manage the equipment tagging process for new or existing pieces of equipment that are moved between functional locations or are pulled out of service for overhaul in the shop or on the turnaround. Tag these items with their SAP numbers and log them.Analyze technological advances and communicate the need for system enhancements, the creation of exception reports, and the execution of procedural improvements to improve data consistency. Work with existing product lines, users and Houston staff to select the appropriate hardware and software to provide effective capacity over an extended period of time. Ensure compatibility within the entire SAP infrastructure and help the PM Administrator steward and improve Lemont Refinery’s master data collection procedureJob duties displayed above are not all-inclusive, site-specific responsibilities may be assigned.
