Staff Level Member of Technical Staff

Role Description

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly scaling technology company building sophisticated infrastructure and software systems. We are seeking a Staff level Member of Technical Staff to lead high-impact technical initiatives and solve complex engineering problems spanning multiple systems and teams.

• Lead architecture and implementation of critical platform capabilities.
• Own complex technical initiatives from conception through production.
• Design scalable distributed systems and services.
• Identify and resolve architectural, reliability, and performance bottlenecks.
• Establish engineering patterns and technical standards.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Influence long-term platform architecture and technology decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and system architecture.
• Deep proficiency in at least one major programming language.
• Experience operating systems at meaningful scale.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
