Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or following entry procedures that support the location’s daily operations and sensitive work areas. Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders as needed regarding security‑related concerns, incidents, and changing conditions on the property. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
