Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related issues to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards. Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events, helping to support an orderly response to security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
