Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Wed: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Thur: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sun: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe guest activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized persons. Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or customer assistance during peak business hours, special events, and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
