Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, research, and/or campus-style locations, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site. Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions. Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by assisting with visitor management, following post orders, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders when needed. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
