Job Description As a Security Officer Client Service Patrol in Palo Alto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 07:00 PMTue10:00 AM - 07:00 PMWed10:00 AM - 07:00 PMThur10:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe merchandise areas and common spaces, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity to the appropriate personnel. Support access control and closing/opening procedures as assigned, helping to verify authorized entry, monitor restricted areas, and/or maintain orderly operations throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
