Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic, verify credentials and/or shipping paperwork as directed by site policies, and report access concerns or policy violations. Support daily operations by observing package handling and vehicle movement areas for security‑related issues, maintaining detailed activity logs, and communicating clearly with supervisors and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
