Security Officer Badge Alarm Patrol – Fremont, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon – Fri 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site representative. Support day‑to‑day operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, completing activity logs, and assisting with security‑related requests in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
