Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in varied settings—including individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention during acute mental health situations and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for clients in distress.

• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date clinical documentation according to organizational policies and relevant legal guidelines, ensuring that all progress notes and treatment plans accurately reflect patient care.

• Engage in psychoeducation efforts with clients and their families, providing them with vital knowledge to foster self-management of their mental health conditions.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive and client-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in Kansas.
