Immediate need for a talented Systems Analyst. This is a 12 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake TX (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and support software solutions as a Systems Analyst, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement technology initiatives and enterprise software solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery activities.
• Utilize cloud and distributed technologies, including AWS services, to support application development and system integration efforts.
• Design, consume, and support REST APIs using tools and technologies such as Swagger, XML, and JSON.
• Apply knowledge of Spring Core and related frameworks to support application architecture and development activities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, perform data analysis, and work with database query tools to support application functionality and troubleshooting.
• Participate in system analysis, technical documentation, testing, debugging, and production support activities.
• Ensure software solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards through effective analysis and collaboration.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Systems analyst, Java, REST API, SQL and AWS
• 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 6 years working with engineering teams building software solutions for technology initiatives, with deep software development experience
• Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Technical proficiency with cloud and distributed technologies — AWS console navigation, Swagger, API concepts, Spring Core, XML, and JSON
• Rest API
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with database query tools
