Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU | San Luis Obispo, CA | Start 06/22/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,597-$1,658 per week | Guaranteed Hours: 0.0 | Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts | Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital ICU with trauma level designation. This leadership role includes nurse-lead responsibilities on the unit in addition to standard critical-care duties.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct critical care to adult ICU patients, including monitoring, assessments, and rapid problem-solving for evolving conditions
- Lead unit operations on shift, including coordination of staffing, patient throughput, and communication with the medical team
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and ancillary staff to implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform procedures within scope of practice, and ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in rounds and contribute to continuous quality improvement, patient outcomes, and infection control measures

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice: California
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC required
- Experience: Five years of ICU technical experience preferred; supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
- Specialty knowledge: ICU patient care in a trauma-level unit; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to commence on 06/22/2026 for a 13-week assignment
