Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments that evaluate clients' mental health concerns, history, and treatment needs through online platforms.

• Develop individualized, personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, establishing clear goals and actionable steps towards achieving optimal mental health.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

• Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals through systematic recordkeeping and regular assessment updates.

• Coordinate care with additional mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, as well as community resources to provide holistic support to clients.

• Educate and empower clients’ families, fostering understanding and active involvement in the recovery journey.

• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. This role places an emphasis on providing services to those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will utilize culturally sensitive approaches to ensure that therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid New York State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
