Despite the remote setting, you will be part of a cohesive outpatient office team, utilizing communication tools to engage with colleagues and maintain a collaborative workflow. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and emotional needs, leveraging clinical diagnostic skills. Design and implement personalized treatment plans specifically tailored to each client's unique circumstances and therapeutic goals. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to best practice standards. Continuously monitor client progress through regular check-ins, utilizing tools and methodologies to adjust treatment plans effectively based on observed outcomes. Respond to crises by delivering immediate support and interventions to prevent escalation of mental health issues. Maintain meticulous and secure client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive, integrated mental health care. Engage in continuous learning by staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and research. Participate in professional development activities, including supervision sessions and workshops, to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. Commit to ethical practice, adhering to the guidelines set forth by relevant licensing boards and associations. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach and personalized care will play a pivotal role in fostering resilience and emotional stability among our clients. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) is essential. Demonstrated strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to formulate accurate diagnoses based on assessments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members. Empathy and compassion are crucial, highlighting a commitment to understanding and supporting clients’ journeys. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is necessary. Knowledge of ethical standards and local regulations governing mental health practices is indispensable. A passion for ongoing professional development and learning is expected. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling is required, ideally within an outpatient setting. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), or others, is preferred. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, along with bonus opportunities.
