Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer - (90-100K Base plus bonus) Greater Cleveland Area, OH About This Opportunity A Cleveland industrial technology and engineered solutions company designs and builds metal forming equipment and manufacturing solutions. The team helps factories and production facilities solve real problems on their shop floors. This role calls for a Sales Engineer to be the bridge between the technical team and customers. What You'll Do Every Day Meet with customers at their sites to find new sales opportunities and build relationships. Work with the engineering team to build custom quotes and proposals for each customer. Create technical drawings and CAD-based proposal documents that show exactly what can be built. Design solutions that match what the customer needs with what the company can deliver. Run ROI analyses and give technical presentations to show customers how much money they'll save. Track all sales opportunities and pipeline activity in Salesforce. Hit your monthly sales targets and manage your assigned sales territory. Support the engineering and manufacturing teams when customers need help after the sale. What You Need to Have 3 or more years of sales experience selling manufacturing equipment, metal forming equipment, or industrial machinery. A 4-year degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent hands‑on work experience). Solid skills with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to create technical drawings using CAD software. Strong speaking and writing skills for presentations and proposals. Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry trade shows. Bonus Skills That Help Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software. Knowledge of design and engineering principles. Experience presenting to C-level executives and senior leaders. Background working in metal forming or process manufacturing industries.
