The Role

As a Lead Service Technician HVAC/R, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment while serving as a field leader for less experienced technicians.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, mentoring team members, and delivering exceptional service to commercial and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Service walk-in coolers, freezers, rack systems, prep tables, ice machines, and commercial HVAC equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues

• Lead service calls and support apprentice and junior technicians in the field

• Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance on all jobs

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls

• Complete accurate service documentation and work orders

• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience (refrigeration industry experience)

• EPA Universal Certification required

• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Proven leadership or mentoring experience in the field

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning
