As a Security Officer Medical Facility Control Access in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a healthcare-related public health location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and basic site information, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly; communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
