Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments to establish client needs and treatment objectives.

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy sessions tailored to client requirements.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions with the Clinical Supervisor to support professional development and ensure high-quality care delivery.
\n
• Engage in treatment planning and case conferences, collaborating with fellow clinicians to optimize client outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, providing clients with skills and strategies to manage their mental health effectively.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.
\n
• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers and other community resources for effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
\n
• Oversee and mentor interns or student volunteers, if assigned, fostering their growth and knowledge in a practical setting.
\n
• Contribute to the organization’s goals and initiatives, engaging with the Department of Correction when necessary to provide critical support to clients.
\n
• Complete necessary statistical reports and documentation on time to aid in assessing the efficacy of treatment programs.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with various mental health challenges. Your approach will be client-centered, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care that respects their unique backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California or eligibility for licensure.
