About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance and Administration to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the President, bringing a builder mindset to the role and leading the financial and operational aspects of the organization. This pivotal position requires a leader with a strong background in financial and operational management, who can provide the deep expertise, sound judgment, and collaborative approach necessary to advance the company's mission. The Vice President will be responsible for financial leadership and stewardship, financial planning, analysis, and cash flow management, as well as overseeing the budget process and ensuring financial accountability across the organization. Applicants for the Vice President, Finance and Administration role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of financial leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a complex, association, or nonprofit environment. The role demands a candidate with a commitment to the company's mission, experience in strategic business partnership, and a proven track record in financial and operational excellence. The Vice President will also be involved in human resources and organizational capacity, and experience in this area is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with advanced financial credentials such as a CPA or MBA being a strong preference. The role requires a leader who is adept at problem-solving, and continuous improvement, and who can effectively manage risk and compliance.
