Job Summary Supports the Sales and Estimating teams by preparing detailed labor and material estimates for custom unitized curtain wall projects. Responsible for compiling comprehensive material take-offs for all scope items manufactured by Pioneer and developing budget proposals in response to client requests. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Sales and Estimating to develop efficient, cost-effective solutions that align with contract specifications. Analyze project scope to determine the quantity and type of materials required to meet design and performance criteria. Support Estimators with detailed take-offs for all materials and accessories related to Pioneer-manufactured scope items. Assist in soliciting and evaluating material supplier quotes for outsourced components, including clarifications and side-by-side comparisons. Coordinate subcontractor and vendor outreach, tracking outstanding quotes and responses. Contribute to the preparation of budget proposals under supervision, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Participate in special project teams and support additional estimating-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or a related technical field (completed or in progress) preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Clear and effective verbal and written communication abilities. Collaborative team player with a focus on achieving shared goals. Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
