Staff Accountant

Accounting Specialist
Month end closing: journal entries, account reconciliations, reports, and provides general ledger support
Assistance with financial statement preparation
Year-end audit including coordination with outside CPA
Assistance with budget schedules: preparation and ERP system input after final approval
Process & reporting improvements including but not limited to Financials
Other accounting related special projects as assigned by management
Submit sales tax adjustment spreadsheet and adjustments
Review and verify timely and accurate filings of sales tax returns on the 3rd party website
Address and resolve tax notices from State, and City agencies as it relates to sales tax
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field with minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales tax and general accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
