Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk / HR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The individual that fills this role will need the ability to organize, work efficiently among interruptions and to quickly learn about our business. Abilities must include excellent written and verbal communication, computer literacy, and sitting for extended periods working at a desk.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General bookkeeping including but not limited to:

Entry of quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and receivables/payables, shipping documentation, receiving tracking of material and other items as needed.

New customer/vendor setup documentation and correspondence.

Handle and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Organize data summaries in Excel with input from others.

Organize and file project information.

Preparation of checks if needed.

Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

An associate’s degree related to accounting is beneficial.

Two years of experience using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.

Proficiency in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Strong work ethic, math skills with a high attention to detail.

Able to handle frequent changes and interruptions.

HR experience including submitting weekly payroll with ADP.

Relevant exposure to the corrugated packaging industry.

OTHER:

Compensation: TBD based on experience and qualifications

Employment type: Full Time

Location: ProtoPack, LLC in Franklin, OH

Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM

Must pass and drug screen and background check.
