Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation, Sunnyvale, CARegistered Dietitian/Dietary Manager- Dual role$93,600-$104,000Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation, a Generations Healthcare facility, is in search of a Registered Dietitian who will have a dual role as the Dietary Supervisor to join our team.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Nutrition Services Manager who is a Registered Dietitian (RD) to oversee and lead our food and nutrition services in a 99-bed skilled nursing facility. This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring high-quality nutritional care for residents while managing daily kitchen operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, clinical excellence, and building strong interdisciplinary relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Nutrition (RD Duties):Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plansProvide ongoing monitoring and documentation in accordance with regulatory standardsCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team membersManage nutrition support, therapeutic diets, and specialized feeding plansLead and support malnutrition identification and quality improvement initiativesAn active participant in Skin and Weight IDT meetings, responsible for tracking and trending interventions and resident outcomesDietary Management (Food Service Duties):Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal service, sanitation, and food safety complianceEnsure menu execution meets regulatory guidelines and resident preferencesManage food ordering, inventory, and cost controlSupervise and train dietary staff, fostering a positive and accountable team cultureMaintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations (including CDPH and CMS standards)QualificationsRegistered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential requiredMinimum 1–3 years of experience in long-term care or healthcare nutritionStrong knowledge of Title 22Proven leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilities.BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, rewarding healthcare benefits and excellent career growth opportunities.Benefits and incentive programs (including sign-on bonuses, if applicable) are subject to eligibility requirements and may change at any time.
