Experience reading telemetry strips. Skills in managing chest tubes, tracheostomies, PIV starts, drains, PCA pumps, and medication administration. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in MedSurg/Tele. This role requires a strong background in MedSurg/Tele nursing. Patient types include general medicine cases such as diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory concerns, renal conditions, and wound care. Responsibilities include performing dressing changes, managing chest tubes and tracheostomies, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring. Patient ratios are RN: 1:5-6 and CNA: 1:9-10. Support staff includes CNAs providing basic nursing care, charge nurses, and shared responsibilities with phlebotomy and rapid response teams. The unit culture emphasizes patient-centered care, reliability, and strong teamwork. This position may require floating to other medical-surgical units. Free employee parking is available on site.
