Safety Manager/Representative - Life ScienceLocation: Thousand Oaks, CASalary: $120,000 - $160,000 (Based on Experience) Position OverviewWe are seeking a proactive Safety Field Representative to serve as the on-site safety engineer and advocate for safe work practices across pharmaceutical, life sciences, and bio-tech facilities. Operating within a high-standard pharmaceutical client environment, this role oversees compliance across specialized settings including cleanrooms, regulated laboratories, and active capital project construction sites. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the on-site Safety Field Representative monitoring capital projects across pharmaceutical laboratories, R&D spaces, cleanrooms, and industrial areas.Enforce safety programs and ensure OSHA/EHS compliance.Investigate incidents and near misses; develop corrective actions.Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and new-hire orientations.Maintain safety records, permits, reports, and compliance logs.Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into operations.Track safety metrics and recommend improvements.Support emergency planning, audits, and regulatory inspections.Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and observations.Qualifications3+ years of EHS/Safety field experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, cleanroom, biotechnology, or highly regulated facility/construction environments.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS practices.Excellent communication, coaching, and report-writing skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites.Experience in safety, EHS, OSHA, quality, or construction safety roles.OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or similar certifications preferred.BenefitsFull Benefits Included
